Congratulations on your engagement!

I can not say enough good things about Brian Sparhawk- he is HANDS DOWN the BEST DJ I have EVER heard... I have worked with Brian for 5 years now (I am in charge of weddings at Loon Mountain, NH), and he is at the top of my list for recommendations for a DJ, #1 on the list, to be exact. Brian is not only the best DJ out there (and most reasonably priced!), but we also HIGHLY recommend Brian because he makes US look good! He is so easy to work with and is BY FAR the best in the industry!!

Not only have I worked with Brian on a professional level, but I have also been able to enjoy his work on a personal level as well- the first time I heard Brian was at the wedding of two of my best friends. After I first heard him play 5 years ago, I recommended him to all brides who booked weddings at Loon- when it came time for another friend to book a DJ, I recommended Brian, but he was already booked with a bride and groom getting married at Loon (I recommended Brian to them as well), so my friend had to look elsewhere and the DJ they found through an agency could not even hold a candle to Brian... In the past few summers, Brian has DJ-ed 3 of my friends weddings- one of which he ran the sound system off of his truck battery when we lost power during the reception! Talk about a dedicated DJ...

I was a bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding last month and, in the planning stages, she mentioned she was interested in a DJ, of course I KNEW Brian was the man for the job!!! I strongly encouraged her to get in touch with Brian ASAP as he books up quickly, and she was lucky that he was available. Needless to say, I CONTINUE to hear from family members and friends how INCREDIBLE Brian was and how the music, interaction, everything was PERFECT! I told my mother (after she met Brian at my cousin's wedding) that I will plan my wedding AROUND Brian Sparhawk's availability- her immediate response was "EXCELLENT!" My family is very outspoken and quite critical, so to see EVERYONE (including my 90 year old grandfather in a wheechair) out dancing and RAVING about Brian's performance and my recommendation really says a lot about who Brian is and his amazing work.

I realize that you must read countless references for your vendors, but I can assure you that Brian Sparhawk is THE #1 DJ- I see a variety of DJs at weddings almost every weekend, and Brian Sparhawk is the ONLY one I would EVER highly recommend (just about DEMAND) to my personal family and friends, not to mention brides and grooms getting married at Loon. I have seen several DJs who are just there to do their "job"- Brian is there early, set up, smiling, and happy to be there- he puts 120% into every single reception he is hired for, and I, personally, would never consider anyone else to DJ my wedding than Brian.

Hello there,

Brian did our wedding in October 2003, and I STILL, nearly six years later, tell people how much we loved our DJ. Seriously. He was by far my favorite vendor, and we had a bunch of great ones.

Brian took the time to talk with us at length about what kinds of music we liked, and what we absolutely did not want played (and stuck to it!). Very easygoing and a pleasure to chat with, he really got a sense of who we are, and did a fabulous job with the music at our reception.

Brian made our announcements, double and triple-checking the order and name pronunciations ahead of time, then went back to quietly running the show. We warned him in advance that it probably wouldn’t be much of a dancing group, but our guests were dancing up a storm – and without any of the crazy DJ antics that drive my husband and me up a wall, LOL. In short, Brian was fabulous.

If we were to have a big party or were to hire a DJ for some event, I wouldn’t think for a moment – I’d pick up the phone and call Brian.

Congratulations to you! Sounds like you have a very special event coming up soon!

Brian Sparhawk has DJed many events for us over the years and he always knows how to play to the crowd to get people up dancing...the key to a successful event. Brian has provided entertainment at banquets, nightclubs, weddings, and house parties where I have either hosted or been in attendance, so clearly he knows how to read a diverse crowd.

When we decided to get married in a small town in Maine this summer (08-08-09), we had no idea where to even look to find a DJ. Until my dad's wife gave us the contact info for Brian Sparhawk!!! I couldn't be more happy with how the whole event turned out, and a lot of that was because of the music! Everyone remembers the dress, the cake, but most importantly how much fun they had dancing around to awesome tunes! This man came with millions of song titles and if he didn't by chance have the songs, he immediately downloaded them! I couldn't have been more pleased with him and his professionalism. My favorite part of the night, the last couple songs. I will remember them forever, and as I glanced around the dance floor, everyone including my 80 something year old grandfather was dancing, singing and smiling, and I have Brian Sparhawk to thank! If I knew a thousand people I would recommend Brian to everyone of them. Thanks again for such a memorable event.

Brian was the DJ at my wedding on October 10 and he was fabulous! Brian spent a lot of time getting all of our music together ahead of time and was extremely friendly to both my husband and I as well as our guests. He really made sure that our wedding reception flowed smootly and kept people out there on the dance floor! I'd recommend him to anyone! Thanks Brian!
